Fynbos

Fynbos takes its name from the diverse plant life of the Cape region of South Africa: a landscape of soft textures and fine detail. Like its namesake, this yarn is light, airy, and full of character.

The yarn is brushed, giving it a gentle halo and cloud-soft hand, designed to be worn close to the skin for warmth without weight. Fynbos is RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified. 

When hand-dyeing, the KID MOHAIR content absorbs colour beautifully, creating soft, luminous tones with a natural depth. 

As the WOOL content is non-superwash, the yarn benefits from minimal agitation and gradual heating and cooling during the dyeing process.
