Yarns are sold undyed in packs of twisted hanks; in most cases these are 1kg packs. Our minimum order is 1 pack.
For 6 packs and up we offer free local shipping (This can be a mix and match of any yarns as long as your total order is 6 packs or more).
For wholesale orders of 30kgs please contact us directly for pricing and placing of orders at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Orders are placed by adding packs to your cart, once you have checked out and payment has been made you will receive an email from us confirming your order which serves as an official agreement of the sale and your order will be processed. You will then be notified of delivery details, including waybill info for tracking purposes.
Orders are ex works which means once the yarn has left our warehouse it is the buyer’s responsibility. Orders of 1-2kgs usually takes up to 3 working days for delivery but for bigger orders please allow 5-6 working days as we have opted for a more economical freight option for your benefit. We ship our yarns from Monday to Friday, but not over weekends.

We offer local shipping within South Africa using a local courier and standard delivery which can take 2-5 days to deliver depending on your location. The current rate when ordering between 1 and 5 Bags is R135. This rate is subject to change. All orders of 6 bags or more will receive free local shipping. The free shipping rate applies to your total order so you can order more than one yarn type as long as the total order is 6 bags or more.
Kindly note that should you wish to place an order for delivery outside of South Africa, this is possible but will require that you contact us directly to place the order.
Hanks are reeled to certain specifications based on what we have found to work best for hand dyers (circumference and weight) and these are listed in the product description. All yarns are reeled with cotton tie bands for easy identification after dyeing.
Our yarns are not ‘bulked’ which is a process of either steaming/scouring the yarn on hank which plumps the yarn up. The reason we have not done this is it adds to the final cost you will have to pay and this process happens automatically when you the dye the yarn anyway.
Our wool is all mulesed free and our mohair comes from farms who comply with the sustainability guidelines set by Mohair South Africa.
It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the yarn on arrival, as mistakes can occur it is the buyers responsibility to notify us of any errors of an order within 1 week of delivery.
Please ensure the yarn is undamaged and in the same condition as it arrived, once the yarn has been returned it will be inspected before we can issue a refund. If there is a claim of faulty yarn please list the full details of the nature of the problem and once the yarn has been returned and it has been inspected we can issue a refund.
If you wish to cancel your order you can do so within a week of delivery, please ensure the yarn is delivered undamaged and in the same condition it arrived, once the yarn has been returned it will be inspected for a full refund.
